Bringing Sacred Automation to Temples Worldwide

For over 54 years, Shree Vishwakarma Engineering Works has been a pioneer in the manufacturing of Fully Automatic Aarti Machines, helping temples preserve the sacred tradition of Aarti through innovation, precision, and devotion.

— Since 1972

A Legacy of Sacred Craftsmanship

The story of Shree Vishwakarma Engineering Works began in Ahmedabad in 1972. During that era, persistent electricity shortages across rural Gujarat and Saurashtra frequently interrupted daily temple rituals, leaving priests and devotees to conduct sacred morning and evening ceremonies without the traditional accompaniment of bells and rhythmic drums. Inspired by Lord Vishwakarma — the divine architect of sacred craftsmanship — our founder set out with a noble mission: to ensure no temple aarti ever falls silent.

In a modest workshop, he engineered India's very first mechanical key-turn Aarti mechanism. Operating on clockwork precision and hand-wound tension, this breakthrough device struck the temple bell and metal zalar in authentic devotional rhythm without requiring a single unit of electricity. As word spread among temple trustees across Gujarat, requests poured in, establishing our foundation of trust, integrity, and devotional engineering.

As power grids expanded throughout the 1980s, we transitioned from mechanical key-turn apparatuses to synchronized electromechanical automation. We invented our signature dual-cam rhythm oscillator to mirror the exact tempo acceleration (*Laya* and *Taal*) of traditional human aarti. To ensure continuous operation year after year without breakdown, we integrated industrial-grade Crompton Greaves and Marathon motors, precision CNC-machined components, and seamless, joint-free die-cast Nagaras that produce rich, deep acoustic resonance.

Recognizing the sacred vows of Ahimsa observed in Jainism, we also pioneered specialized leather-free, non-animal acoustic diaphragms specifically for Jain Derasars. Today, over 100+ prominent Derasars and Jain trusts rely on our reverence-compliant systems for daily Mangal Divo and Aarti ceremonies.

Spanning more than 54 years of continuous innovation, we have developed 55+ distinct models — ranging from compact home-shrine editions to grand Double Nagara temple installations. With more than 1,00,000 active machines resonating across India and in 27 countries worldwide, Shree Vishwakarma remains the world's most trusted name in sacred temple automation.
